Terms and Conditions
1. Payments
All payments for services are 100% prepaid. Once payment has been made, it cannot be refunded unless there is an exceptional situation. In such cases, please contact us at +971 4 577 861 or email info@happyhelpers.ae.
Services are considered to have been provided to the client’s satisfaction unless we receive written notice of dissatisfaction within 4 hours of service completion.
For monthly contractual bookings and packages, services required on weekends or public holidays will incur additional charges at our standard holiday/weekend rates.
2. Cancellations | Refunds (Residential Services)
Booking Cancellations
Once a booking has been made, it cannot be cancelled or amended after the service has been provided.
Business Hours
Sunday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Cancellation Fees
More than 24 business hours’ notice:
A processing fee of AED 100 or 5% of the invoice amount, whichever is higher.
12 – 24 business hours’ notice:
A fee of AED 250 or 5% of the invoice amount, whichever is higher.
Less than 12 business hours’ notice:
100% of the booking cost for that day will be charged.
Cancellations Without Availing Services
If a booking is cancelled before the service has been availed, the following processing fees will apply:
For invoice amounts below AED 1,000: AED 50
For invoice amounts between AED 1,001 and AED 2,000: AED 100
For invoice amounts above AED 2,000: AED 250 or 5% of the invoice amount, whichever is higher
Refunds will be processed within 7 working days to the original payment method.
Service Replacement
Happy Helpers is committed to providing high-quality service.
If the assigned helper is unavailable, a replacement will be arranged.
If the client is dissatisfied, up to three replacement helpers can be provided.
If dissatisfaction continues after three replacements, Happy Helpers may terminate the service.
Refunds for Monthly Contracts and Packages
Cancellation within the first 5 sessions:
Refunds will be processed on a pro-rata basis, with a AED 250 or 5% processing fee, whichever is higher.
After 5 sessions:
Refunds will be calculated by deducting the hours used at the standard hourly rate.
Standard Hourly Rates (for refund calculation)
AED 55/hour + VAT — 2-hour bookings
AED 50/hour + VAT — 3-hour bookings
AED 45/hour + VAT — 4–6-hour bookings
AED 40/hour + VAT — 7–8-hour bookings
AED 38/hour + VAT — 9–10-hour bookings
AED 35/hour + VAT — 11–12-hour bookings
AED 65/hour + VAT — bookings between 6 PM – 8 AM
Refunds will be processed within 7 working days to the original payment method.

Termination for Non-Compliance
Happy Helpers reserves the right to terminate services immediately if the client fails to provide reasonable working conditions for the helper — including excessive working hours, lack of rest, or inadequate food and living arrangements.
3. Cancellations | Refunds (Hotel Bookings)
Booking Cancellations:
Once the service has been provided, bookings cannot be cancelled or amended.
Cancellation Fees:
Less than 12 business hours’ notice: 100% of the booking cost for that day will be charged.
12 – 24 business hours’ notice: A fee of AED 250 or 5% of the invoice amount, whichever is higher, will apply.
Cancellations Without Availing Services:
In cases where the booking is cancelled before the service has been availed, the following processing fees will apply:
For invoice amounts below AED 1,000: AED 50
For invoice amounts between AED 1,001 and AED 2,000: AED 100
For invoice amounts above AED 2,001: A flat fee of AED 250 or 5% of the invoice amount, whichever is higher
Refunds will be processed within 7 working days to the original payment method.

Refund for Mid-Term Termination:
If a client terminates the contract midway, the refund will be calculated by deducting the hours utilized at the standard hourly rate.
Hourly and Additional Charges:
AED 65/hour + VAT for hourly bookings
AED 50/day + VAT for transportation charges between 6 PM and 8 AM
A processing fee of AED 250 or 5% of the invoice amount, whichever is higher
Refunds will be processed within 7 working days.
4. Rescheduling
Company Rescheduling: Happy Helpers LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services in cases of unforeseen circumstances.
Client Rescheduling: Clients may cancel or reschedule bookings by notifying us at least one working day in advance to avoid cancellation charges. If more than one business day’s notice is given, rescheduling will incur no additional cost.
5. Promotions | Packages | Offers
Happy Helpers LLC reserves the right to offer, modify, or discontinue any promotions or packages at its discretion.
Refund on Promotional Packages: For packages like 100/200/300/400/500 hours, refunds will only be processed if the client is dissatisfied and notifies us within one week of service commencement and no more than 5 sessions.
Refund Policy for Unused Hours: Unused hours will be refunded after deducting the cost of the hours used.
The deduction for the used hours will be calculated based on the following Standard Hourly Rates:
- AED 55/hour + VAT — for 2-hour bookings
- AED 50/hour + VAT — for 3-hour bookings
- AED 45/hour + VAT — for 4–6-hour bookings
- AED 40/hour + VAT — for 7–8-hour bookings
- AED 38/hour + VAT — for 9–10-hour bookings
- AED 35/hour + VAT — for 11–12-hour bookings
The balance amount will be refunded after deducting the charges for the hours used, as per the rates above.

6. Booking Extensions (Residential/Office)
Extensions (8 AM – 6 PM): If you intend to extend the booking, please notify us at least 1 hour in advance to allow for transportation arrangements. Extensions will be charged at AED 40/hour + VAT. Less than 1 hour notice will incur an additional AED 50 + VAT for transportation.
Extensions (6 PM – 8 AM): Night service extensions require at least 1 hour notice. If the request is made with less than 1 hour’s notice, the extension will be charged at AED 65/hour + VAT, with an additional AED 100 + VAT for transportation. Payment for extensions should be made in cash to the assigned helper.
7. Hotel Booking Extensions (24 Hours)
Extensions: Must be notified at least 1 hour in advance. If the request is made less than 1 hour before the end time, charges will be AED 65/hour + VAT, plus AED 100 + VAT for transportation.
8. Validity of Services and Payments
Payments for services or packages will be considered void after 180 days from the payment date or the date the first service was provided.
Package Validity:
- 100 hours = 1 month
- 200 hours = 2 months
- 300/400/500 hours = 3 months
9. Additional Terms
Babysitter/Nanny Reservation:
To reserve the same babysitter/nanny, clients must book 36-40 hours/week. If fewer hours are booked, Happy Helpers will try to send the same helper, but may need to reassign them if larger bookings come through.
Direct Communication with Helper: Any direct engagement with the helper for matters such as work hours, bookings, or arrangements outside the agreed terms will be considered a breach of contract. All communications must be directed to the Customer Service Team or Supervisor.
Threatening Behavior: Threats or abusive behavior towards company employees will result in immediate cancellation of services.
1-Star Review Policy: A 1-star review indicates dissatisfaction, and Happy Helpers may choose to terminate or not renew the contract.
10. Complaints | Service-Related Concerns | Unusual Incidents
All complaints will be fully investigated and attempts will be made to resolve issues to the client’s satisfaction.
Clients should notify us within 4 hours if there is any damage or loss caused by our staff. The company will not be responsible for any claims made after that time.
Engaging directly with staff for tasks outside the agreed services, or poaching staff will result in immediate termination of services and no refund. Clients who wish to hire staff under Happy Helpers LLC’s visa will need to pay a one-time fee of AED 15,000.
Final Notes:
By engaging in our services, clients agree to adhere to the above terms.
Happy Helpers reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Clients will be informed of any changes.
